MCINTOSH DRIVE

Public BBQ

The barbecue facilities at McIntosh Drive present something of a mixed bag for visitors. While the equipment itself has seen better days - with some reviewers noting reliability issues with the actual BBQ plates - there's still plenty to appreciate about this suburban spot. The real drawcard here is the thoughtful layout: generous preparation space surrounds the cooking area, making it easy to spread out ingredients and tackle the inevitable juggling act of outdoor cooking. Nearby seating means the cook isn't banished from conversation, and the convenient water tap saves those awkward trips back to the car with dirty utensils.
